New Coach Training - Daily To Do's

Coach Daily To Do's

We have to be working from a list every day so that we don't get onto Social media and scroll the news feed to waste time.  We are all busy and this business doesn't have to take a lot of time if you make a list and work from your list each day!  

I use my power hour to do list which I got from Mindy Wender when I watched her Youtube New Coach training series!  Please watch the Power Hour to Do list training video below and if you have time start from video 1 of that series and go through to day 14!

Morning


Post on social media - inspirational, positive, funny, etc.

Workout, take a picture and post it. The goal is to interact, share value & to inspire. 

Make a list of 10 people you want to eventually talk to
about a program, the business, etc.

Comment on others’ pictures, ask questions, LIKE posts, and look for post ideas as you go along (especially from the 10 people you want to engage).

Check on your challenge groups & training groups.

Add 5 new people on Facebook and follow 5 new people on Instagram that you are REALLY interested in (NOT that will find you interesting. There IS a difference).

Afternoon


Post a picture with a recipe, workout, info, something
helpful, tip, ask a question.  

Read or listen to Personal Development for 15-30 min
and post your KEY takeaway to your group of coaches or your challengers.

Reach out via text or Facebook private message to a coach or challenger. (Hey, Hello, You’re awesome, How have you been?, How may I help?, etc.)

Evening


Post again and check on challenge groups. 

Follow up with 3 people you have been talking to. Write their names dow

Staying Connected

Staying connected to the coaching community and your family of Coaches is so important to your growth and consistency in your business.  Not only getting on calls and webinars weekly but also attending events.  Coach Summit is Beachbodys biggest event and I encourage each coach to attend.  Make it happen and your business will grow!  I went in my first year as a coach and I learned so much, connected with fellow coaches and came home inspired and truly believing in my business.  

You can also attend your local Super Saturday each quarter!

But consistently getting on weekly calls and webinars will be key to growing your knowledge and confidence in your business.  

WEEKLY CALLS and WEBINARS 


We have quite a few calls you can choose to be a part of each week. And a variety of ways to get on them. While I do not think you need to be on all of them, it would be a great idea to be on at least one a week and try to listen to a recorded call once a week, as well. 

I personally use the Podcast App on my iPhone to listen to the recordings from the National Wake Up calls.  What's great about this is I'm able to load all the older calls aswell.  So I am getting tons of training at my finger tips whenever and wherever I am.

** HOT TIP:  The Team Hardcore Calls are AMAZING!  I always get actionable steps and valuable information from these Calls.  Make a point of listening to one of these calls each week!  You can listen to the recordings or get on live.

The Coach Online Office

The Coach Online office is a HUGE resource for you as a New coach and there are so many training tools that weren’t there when I first started coaching.  To see all of that great content, go to www.teambeachbody.com and log in with your email and password.

Then click COACH >Coach Online Office to see the world of coaching resources!

Going to the "Start Here" would be a good place to begin in the back-
office.  You can also take a tour of the back office in this Tab!

Go ahead & just click around to see what's in all of those other tabs at the top - there is great stuff!

Home Screen



The Home Screen gives you a quick glimpse of what's going on in your business.  I check my Coach online office every morning, one of the first things I do each day.  This gives me an idea as to where I am at for the day.  I can see my Success Club Points for the Month, team volume totals, new coaches, inactive coaches, new customers etc. 

Once you are an emerald coach and earning Success Club 5 or higher each month, Beachbody will give you customers each month.  This is awesome, but you need to make sure you connect with them to offer your support.  The best way to make sure you notice that they have been given to you is to be checking your back office under New Customers.  


This list of new customers is updated all the time but the customer only stays on this list for 1 week so if your not checking you wont notice that you received a new customer whether given to you or someone who came from your website.

In the My Business Tab (probably the most used Tab) you can set your Preferred Placement (chosing which "leg" to place your next coach), your Downline information, Volume information, you can search for customers etc.

** FYI, you can sign up for direct deposit under EFT Management in that tab.  If you don't sign up for direct deposit you used to get paper cheques mailed to you but now you don’t get paid.  So check out the back office and fill out the EFT!

Here you will find information about products and programs, marketting tools like forms, coach trainings and videos as well as information on the Beachbody challenge and much more.  



This section becomes very useful when running your first challenge group because there are Challenge group guides for EVERY program Beachbody has which provides you with the daily facebook group posts and everything you need to run a challenge group!

5 Step Invitation Processs

Step 1 - Invite


Make a list of people who you know
Promote your upcoming challenges through social media

Don't just give them all the information.  Learn to bridge the prospect from step 1 to step 2.  "You can say, that depends on what you need and want." Often my Facebook friends will comment "interested" on my invite post.  I will then private message them with a simple message that says:

"Hi Shannon, thank you for your interest in my 21 day fix program, I would love to tell you all about it but first can you tell me a little about you and your health and fitness goals?"

At this point it allows them to tell me about themselves.  Sometimes they will still want all the information about the cost upfront.  I do try to share the information about the product first before just giving a price that way they understand what it is they will be getting and we build a relationship along the way. 


Step 2 - The Interview


Ask your customers a few simple questions

I like to ask "How would you rate your current nutrition on a scale from 1-10 with 10 being best"  

Take a few minutes to ask some questions and listen to their answers.  I will then say thanks for sharing that with me shannon, how about I tell you a little more about the program and then you can let me know if you think it is something that could work for you.  

When they say yes I simple send them some information I have drafted on the specific program we are talking about.  You can always message or email me for these blurbs to use!  I also have conversation templates located in our Facebook page. 


Step 3 - Video


If I send you a video would you have time to watch it?

Before Providing the Cost details and options I always try to have my customer view a few videos, I personally use the Intro video for the program we are discussing and then send them the Have you every felt like this.  These will help them to understand the value in the product or program and how the challenge groups work. 


Step 4 - Follow Up


The Follow Up:  "Did you have a chance to watch the videos?"  "What did you like about them?"


Step 5 - Enrollment


Send them your website link and walk them through the process.  You website link will be:

www.beachbodycoach.com/YOURUSERNAME

I will send my customer to my website and say:  "Go to shop, then on the left side click on Challenge packs, then scroll to find ___________ challenge pack and select your flavour of shakeology".

New Coach Training - Making Connections

The first thing I will ask you to do is make a list... I know I know it can be hard to think of everyone you know and make a list of those you think would be interested in either one of the programs, shakeology or coaching BUT I don't want you to make a list like that! I actually just want you to write down EVERYONE you have ever met. Period.  Don't filter, qualify or even think they might be or not be interested in something.  

Just reach back into your memory banks and think of people you KNOW and LIKE, people who you went to school with, worked with, play sports with, know through a friend etc.  

• Mother • Father • Grandparents • In-Laws • Siblings • Children • Aunts • Uncles • Nieces • Nephews • Cousins • Friends • Coworkers • Church members • Social group/club • Neighbors • Babysitters • School groups • Organization friends • Casual acquaintances • Chamber of Commerce • Networking groups

Write these names down.  You can use this contact list to keep track of them all.

Once you have a list built up, I want you to start at the top of you list and talk to 5 people each day. BUT dont bring up anything about Beachbody, workouts, programs etc just connect or reconnect with those 5 people.  

Use this Building Relationships Document to Connect or Reconnect with your list of people. 

You can start this process by finding and adding them as a friend on facebook. Then Sending them a message to start the conversation and build the relationship. 

If you are having trouble knowing what to say or how to start a conversation my suggestion is to remember to F.O.R.M them.  

F is for Family
O is for Occupation
R is for Recreation
M is for Message

How I do it is I like to be a Question Asker, I try not to be nosey but I might scan a persons facebook profile before starting the conversation, this will help me know what kinds of questions I might be able to ask to start the conversation flowing.  

I might ask the ages of her children, or if she has shared a photo of a meal I might ask for the recipe etc.  Be interested in them, don't try to be interesting. People love to give advice too so you could ask for a suggestion.  

Try not to bring up coaching or beachbody on your own.  If they mention it or ask about it then of course you can provide any information you feel is relevant but try not to over share or overwhelm them with info.  

ALSO if you aren't sure what to say, please feel free to message me.  I'm more than happy to help you with a reply or suggestion on what to say!  

Action Steps Today:

1. Make a list 
2. Choose 5 people from the list and add them on Facebook
3. Of those 5 people message each one to connect and build the relationship
4. Add 5 more people to your list. 
4. Repeat every day (remember CONSISTENCY is the key to this business).

Do these things to build a strong business:

  • 1. Connect with your upline Coach sponsor (Me or the coach who added you to our team) I would like to schedule a Getting Started Right call with you.  Please email me or message me on Facebook to set up a time that works best for both of us. 

  • 2. Complete the Business Quick Start - Before or during our Getting started right call I would like to complete this document with you.  Please print it off and have it available for our call. 

  • 3. Drink Shakeology® and work out every day.  I encourage all my new coaches to order a Challenge pack to get the set up with everything they need to get started.  You will be able to have your shakeology every day and be using a workout program which will ensure you are being proof that the products work and will give you lots of great ideas for social media posts. 

  • 4. Invest 10 minutes a day in personal development - Being a Health and Fitness Coach isn't just about working out and drinking Shakeology.  It's about improving yourself both on the inside and outside.  Being a more positive person will truly help you overcome objections you will have and help you overcome failures.  Yes you will fail a time or two as we all do when we are starting something new.  But if you are fuelling your mind with positive personal development reading or audio you will have a clearer mindset to be able to work through it.

Schedule a call with me after watching this video and go over your Business Quick Start document and try to fill out the sections as much as possible before our call.  

Please complete the items on the following checklist:
  1. Create your Beachbody coach profile, supplying as much information as possible.
  2. Please fill our the About me Questionnaire and email it to me at crystalpfitnessfood@gmail.com.
  3. Register on www.platinumpresenters.com. Create log-in name and password.
  4. Check out your Coach Online office: Your back office is located at www.teambeachbody.com. Login and then click Coach>Coach Online Office and you are there! Please spend some time exploring your back office. You will find your Coach ID here which you can include on your Business Quick Start. 
  5. Once you have done all these things schedule a call with me and check out the other New Coach Training on the Blog. Keep a running journal of questions and thoughts you have. Bring these to our meeting.
